Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in the Brisbane office and will involve working with clients in the local government sector.

This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance, risk management and claims related programs for local government authorities throughout Australia.

  • Responsibilities:
  1. Respond to queries from clients about liability covers
  2. Deliver the annual membership process and placement of scheme covers
  3. Assist with placement of ancillary covers where required by any member
  4. Assist with development of risk guidance materials for members
  • Key Requirements:
  1. High School Certificate or equivalent
  2. Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative role, preferably in a broking/operational role, insurance-related or legal field
  3. Excellent customer service skills
  4. High level communication skills including interpersonal, negotiation, professional writing and consultation skills
  5. Ability to plan, organise and work independently with associated ability to prioritise work goals
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new systems quickly
