Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Principal to join our team at Swan Hill College. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational direction of our school and ensuring the delivery of high-quality programs and services to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage significant areas or functions within the school to ensure the effective development, provision, and evaluation of the education program.
  • Make significant decisions relating to the program, budget, and staff within the framework of the school's strategic plan, policies, and budget.
  • Contribute to the overall management of the school through involvement in policy formulation and decision-making.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of senior curriculum or level coordinators, allocate budgets and resources, and oversee the delivery of teaching programs.
  • Manage programs to improve the knowledge and experience of staff, and contribute to the overall management of the school.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Outstanding educational leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
  • Highly developed financial, organisational, and resource management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, students, and the community.
  • A strong commitment to the safety and wellbeing of all students, and a demonstrated ability to implement Department policies to a high level.
