An exciting opportunity has arisen at our purpose-built campus catering for up to 90 children daily in Castle Hill. Nestled in this beautiful natural leafy suburb, our centre has a forest haven atmosphere with a peaceful natural vibe There is ample on street parking close to the campus on Old Northern road and there are bus links from surrounding suburbs. 

• With five well resourced, age-appropriate indoor learning environments and two dedicated outdoor learning/ play spaces, children have many opportunities to develop holistically in this campus.
• At Only About Children, we are committed to nature play and sustainability. Our Castle Hill campus has the benefit of vegetable & herb gardens, sandpits, a mud kitchen, 5 chickens and worm farms. 
• The campus operates 2 preschool rooms, 1 toddlers and 2 nursery rooms.

About the Role

Our Only About Chldren Castle Hill campus is looking for a Campus Director to lead the team .

Working in collaboration with key functional business partners in Operations, Children Services, People & Culture and Family Support - the Campus Director is accountable for campus management, including the delivery of educational leadership and financial performance.

A strong reliance on constructive communication and collaboration between different functional areas is a critical component of the role. 

In addition, the role involves:

• Always ensuring child safety and welfare
• Provide a point of focus on the delivery of agreed monthly KPIs that support all aspects of our business
•  Ensure that all communications to the team foster a positive relationship between the management
  structure of our workforce
• Ensure that the business is meeting financial outcomes that have been set
• Being a positive role model by coaching and mentoring team members through Educational Leadership
• Ensuring ongoing, professional and timely communication between the campus and families
• Taking personal responsibility for modelling and driving our HEART principles, and leadership practice
• Facilitate events for the families to create an inclusive and welcoming community environment

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification from a recognised university or Diploma of Children's Services from a recognised Registered Training Organisation
• Current First Aid Certificate and Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualification
• Child Protection qualification – Respond and Identify Children at Risk of Harm
• Minimum of five years demonstrated experience in an early childhood setting.
• Advocate for early childhood and Only About Children
• Able to work within a group structure
• Experience in operating a childcare campus.
• Experience coaching teams.
• Knowledge of statutory regulations relating to the sector
