About the role

The Major Events team is seeking an Operations Assistant to provide support in delivering some of Sydney's biggest events.

  • Offer logistical, administrative and operational assistance
  • Assist with procurement documents and supplier agreements
  • Help with event set-up, operation and pack-down
  • Prepare and update safety plans, schedules, maps and manuals
  • Complete event administration tasks such as agendas, minutes and action lists
  • Support event control rooms and take on hands-on roles during events

To be successful, you will have qualifications and/or previous experience in major event management, and in providing administrative, operational, production, technical and logistical support within a dynamic work environment.
