Transmission Network Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Network Switching Coordinator to join our team.
This is a hands-on role that involves coordinating planned transmission outages and associated switching programs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of transmission network equipment, switching protocols, and outage coordination.
Responsibilities- Lead the coordination of planned transmission outages and associated switching programs.
- Conduct preliminary security assessments and ensure accurate outage scheduling with internal systems.
- Prepare, check, and process switching programs in line with industry standards.
- Provide technical support and specialist advice to customers and internal stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 5 years' experience in high-voltage electricity operations, ideally within transmission networks.
- Electrical trade qualifications and/or an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
- Deep understanding of transmission network equipment, switching protocols, and outage coordination.
