The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced high-voltage operator with a passion for safe and efficient network switching to join our dynamic team based in Adelaide, South Australia.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the coordination of planned transmission outages and associated switching programs
  • Conduct preliminary security assessments and ensure accurate outage scheduling with AEMO and internal systems
  • Prepare, check, and process switching programs in line with ElectraNet's Switching Manual and industry standards
  • Provide technical support and specialist advice to customers, internal stakeholders, and the network switching team
About You:

To be successful in this role you will bring:

  • At least 5 years' experience in high-voltage electricity operations, ideally within transmission networks
  • Electrical trade qualifications and/or an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
  • Deep understanding of transmission network equipment, switching protocols, and outage coordination
