Job Title:

Asphalt Plant Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with production management to plan and schedule asphalt production, ensuring timely dispatch and successful shift outcomes.
  • Accurately maintain production scorecards, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings.
  • Work closely with supervisors to forecast and order raw materials for production and related tasks.
  • Monitor plant settings with the laboratory team to ensure production meets specifications and address non-conformance issues promptly.
  • Ensure all calibrations and maintenance tasks for the plant are completed on schedule.
  • Coordinate with transport allocators to ensure safe and legal loading of trucks, while complying with fatigue management requirements.
Requirements:
  • Experience in production operations, particularly asphalt manufacturing, concrete, quarrying, crushing or recycling.
  • Proven experience with planning and scheduling operations efficiently across multiple shifts.
  • Strong capability to record and analyze data for identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Keen eye for ensuring processes and outputs meet specifications, addressing issues promptly.
