Federal Government Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the integration of a major government programme. The successful candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities and experience working within a federal government environment.
About The Role
- The role involves overseeing the programme schedule, managing key dependencies and analysing critical path and milestones.
- You will work closely with Programme Governance Managers to ensure alignment and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- The position requires strong risk management skills to keep the programme on track.
Key Responsibilities
- To oversee the integration of a major government programme.
- To manage the programme schedule and identify key dependencies affecting critical path and milestones.
- To build and maintain relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- A proven ability to establish, manage and report on project timelines and deliverables.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the production of high-quality reports, briefs and correspondence under tight deadlines.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive and culturally safe working environment.
- Advanced expertise in using MS Project and exceptional scheduling skills.
- Experience working within a government environment is highly desirable.
