In 2013, the Reece Group acquired refrigeration and air conditioning businesses Actrol and Metalflex. Across all levels of the network, staff continuously aim to provide friendly and expert customer service to ensure they are the best in the business.

We are partnered with Murray Mallee Training Company Ltd to offer School-based Traineeships where students will work towards a Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations. This traineeship involves working in a Reece branch and completing certificate requirements, including workbooks, on-the-job training, and assessments.

This position is based at Metalflex Bayswater. Key responsibilities include embracing the Reece values, policies, and procedures; providing excellent customer service; completing certificate requirements; processing sales; managing stock; answering phone calls and taking messages; communicating with customers and staff; building product knowledge; following up with customers; and contributing to maintaining a high standard in the branch.

Successful candidates will possess good written and verbal communication skills, the ability to follow instructions, enthusiasm and a great attitude, a willingness to try new things, and be a team player. Students will be required to work approximately one and a half days per week, with Saturday availability essential. Additional hours during school holidays are available and recommended to support progress.

Metro Melbourne salary: AU$1200 - AU$1500 per fortnight (approximately AU$25-$30 per hour), depending on experience and qualifications.
