About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Merchandiser to join our Melbourne team at H&M Group. As a Visual Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in creating an engaging and immersive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by offering styling advice, product knowledge, and store experience.
  • Analyze sales data and take ownership of the visual direction of the store, ensuring a cohesive and compelling visual merchandising strategy.
  • Design and install visually appealing window displays that showcase our brand's aesthetic and values.
  • Create inspiring outfits and style mannequins to showcase our products in a creative and appealing way.
  • Merchandise stock on the shop floor to ensure a seamless and engaging customer experience.
  • Support sales staff with store operations, including visual merchandising standards and training.
  • Set the visual merchandising standard for the store and train other managers and staff to maintain consistency and excellence.
  • Represent the H&M Group brand as a ambassador and provide an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

  • Approximately 1 year of experience as a visual merchandiser or visual assistant.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Good commercial awareness and ability to analyze sales data.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and positive attitude.
  • A genuine interest in others and a customer-focused approach.
  • Open to learning about and selling our products.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Creative mindset and interest in staying up-to-date with the latest trends and competitors.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and evenings when required.
