This is a key position in our Mental Health Unit, focusing on driving clinical care innovation and excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Enhance nursing practice within mental health by advancing clinical competence.
  • Promote evidence-based nursing and contemporary practices to drive quality care.
  • Model high standards of clinical practice among multidisciplinary teams, influencing Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Graduates, and the wider team.
  • Develop training programs, provide guidance and support to peers, patients, and their families, ensuring excellent patient care.
  • Work within a Recovery Model of Care framework, prioritizing Trauma Informed Care and Customer Service Approaches.
  • Drive business growth and service development through professional relationships with stakeholders.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, fostering open communication and clear documentation.
