Talent International is seeking a highly skilled Senior Fraud Investigator to join their team. This 12-month contract role offers a competitive hourly rate of $55.24 + Super.
The successful candidate will work 7.6 hours per day, 38 hours per week, and be responsible for:
- Organizing workflow and making independent decisions within the area of responsibility.
- Providing policy advice based on legislation and policies.
- Supporting complex criminal investigations using a Certificate IV in Government Investigations or equivalent.
- Conducting interviews, collecting and managing evidence, and preparing legal documents like statements and affidavits.
- Assisting in preparing cases for referral to the AFP and Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions.
- Representing the client in criminal and civil courts, providing testimony.
- Producing reports and analyzing investigation data.
- Contributing to process improvements and executing search warrants, which may require travel and extended hours.
Key skills required for the role include:
- Well-developed written skills.
- Confident in-person communicator.
Desirable skills to have for the role include:
- Traditional policing experience.
- Cert IV in Government Investigations.
- Experience having led a successful prosecution case in criminal court.
