PS5 Fraud Investigator Position

Talent International is currently recruiting for a Senior Fraud Analyst to work for one of our Federal Government clients based in Surry Hills. The position is a 12-month contract role with the possibility of extension. The role pays $55.24/hour + Super.
Key Responsibilities:
- Workflow Organisation: Organize workflow and make independent decisions within the area of responsibility.
- Policy Advice: Provide policy advice based on legislation and policies.
- Criminal Investigations: Support complex criminal investigations using a Certificate IV in Government Investigations or equivalent.
- Interviews and Evidence: Conduct interviews, collect and manage evidence, and prepare legal documents like statements and affidavits.
- Case Preparation: Assist in preparing cases for referral to the AFP and Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions.
- Court Representation: Represent the client in criminal and civil courts, providing testimony.
- Reports and Analysis: Produce reports and analyze investigation data.
- Process Improvements: Contribute to process improvements and execute search warrants, which may require travel and extended hours.
Key Skills:
- Well-developed written skills.
- Confident in-person communicator
Desirable Skills:
- Traditional policing experience
- Cert IV in Government Investigations
- Experience having led a successful prosecution case in criminal court.
