- We are seeking a qualified Support Services Associate to join our Mental Health Ward E team at Casey Hospital.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality support services, including ward and department cleaning, bed making, and assisting nursing staff as required.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Ward and department cleaning
- Bed making
- Utilizing lifting equipment; bed movers and wheelchairs
- Assisting nursing staff as needed
- Transfer & cleaning of ward equipment
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Essential)
- Previous experience as a support services associate (Desirable)
- Strong understanding of patient identification procedures
- Able to comprehend and follow written instructions and procedures
- Capable of undertaking physical work, including lifting, carrying, and manual handling
- Excellent understanding of cleaning methodologies and infection control practices
- A strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration
