About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program as an OSHC Manager. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality programs and services to children.

Job Description

The OSHC Manager will be responsible for setting up and managing the daily operations of our OSHC program, which includes developing a curriculum framework, establishing policies and procedures, and promoting the program to CGS families. The successful candidate will also lead and mentor a team of staff, fostering a collaborative and professional culture.

This is an ongoing, part-time opportunity based at our Malvern Campus, with a competitive base salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, plus 12.5% superannuation. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a curriculum framework incorporating all aspects of MTOP and developing policies and strategies ensuring alignment with the broader school objectives.
  • Setting up new services – QIP, Policies, purchasing of resources and setting up environment.
  • Lead, mentor, and support OSHC staff, fostering a collaborative and professional team culture and environment.
  • Deliver on relevant admin and resources planning responsibilities, including managing leave requests, rosters and ensuring adequate coverage for leave, ensuring compliance needs are met, and appropriate access and inclusion for children with additional needs.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in the developing, implementing and evaluating an OSHC program to support the movement of children between indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Demonstrate the capacity to deliver a quality Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program, including setting up new services, frameworks, policies and procedures.
  • Experience in leading, encouraging and supporting teams to foster a welcoming and safe team culture and environment.
  • Display a high level of communication and interpersonal skills when relating to children, parents and others.
