Chief Media Producer

As a key member of our team, your primary responsibilities will encompass the following:
- Spearhead the development and execution of audience-centric programming.
- Supervise the conceptualization of content themes, conducting thorough research, scripting, and editing to ensure engaging narratives.
- Assess and prioritize stories and perspectives that resonate with our audience, in line with current trends and expectations.
- Guarantee that all produced content adheres to accuracy standards and legal requirements.
- Facilitate direct communication with on-air personalities and production crews during live broadcasts, promptly addressing and resolving any challenges.
- Take command of live coverage during significant news events, orchestrating efforts in the control room for uninterrupted broadcasts.
- Efficiently troubleshoot any complications that may arise during news segments.
- Oversee and manage multiple initiatives concurrently in a fast-paced setting.
Required Qualifications
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- A degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Extensive knowledge of news, current events, and industry developments.
- Demonstrated experience in television, radio, or other prominent news media, showcasing a strong leadership background.
- Exceptional focus on customer engagement, complemented by outstanding interpersonal skills for effective team management and collaboration with stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and broadcast writing abilities, with a talent for crafting and delivering compelling stories.
- Comprehensive understanding of media and broadcast regulations, ensuring all content meets legal and ethical standards.
- Proficiency in ENPS, AVID/Velocity editing systems, or similar broadcast software.
- Proven ability to cultivate and maintain strong working relationships across diverse teams.
- Resilience and determination, thriving in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment.
