
Physiotherapist Graduate Development Role

Our Physiotherapist - APM Graduate program is designed to support and develop your skills as a graduate physiotherapist. You will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of allied health professionals, providing rehabilitation assessments and planning for clients with physical injuries and psychosocial barriers.

- Conduct initial rehabilitation assessments and develop plans to assist clients in participating in Graduated Return to Work Programs.
- Manage cases for clients transitioning back to the same or new employment, ensuring seamless integration and optimal outcomes.
- Deliver services within your scope of practice, including worksite assessments, functional capacity evaluations, ergonomic assessments, injury prevention training, work task analyses, and job dictionary preparation.
- Coordinate a holistic treatment approach, liaising with treating practitioners to monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Collaborate with medical teams to assess clients' health and work capacity, providing comprehensive support and guidance.
- Document case notes and reports, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Support veterans in achieving their psychosocial, medical, and vocational goals, recognizing the unique needs and challenges they face.
- Gain experience across various insurance schemes and work with self-insured employers, expanding your professional network and expertise.
- Develop skills to deliver the Virtual Reality Empowered Pain program for clients with persistent pain, utilizing cutting-edge technology to enhance patient care.
