Key Storeperson Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Storeperson to support our operations in Port Hedland, Western Australia.

About the Position:

As a Storeperson, you will be responsible for maintaining and housekeeping of all storage facilities, physical unloading and distribution of parts, purchasing and expediting, and organizing locally sourced requisitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and housekeeping of all storage facilities ensuring safe and efficient working environment.
  • Physical unloading and receipting and distribution of parts ordered/requisitioned with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Purchasing and expediting goods and services to meet operational requirements.
  • Organising/collecting locally sourced requisitions and managing inventory levels.
  • Work with Pronto ERP, Canvas, and Cognos reporting programs for reporting, stock control, and purchases.
  • Conduct rolling stocktakes and full stocktakes at year-end; update the system for variances.
  • Participate in maintaining all logistics functions including supply chain management.
  • Assist the Supply Chain Coordinator in identification and maintenance of inventory levels.
  • Champion continuous improvement projects with strong business cases.

Requirements:

  • Procurement and warehouse experience in marine or mining industries (desirable).
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with Inventory Management Systems (desirable).
  • Forklift Licence (desirable).
  • LR Licence (or ability to obtain).
