About the Opportunity

This position is based at our waterfront location, involving storekeeping and supply chain activities within Rivtow Marine, Port Hedland.

As a Warehouse Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining storage facilities, unloading, receipting, and distributing parts ordered or requisitioned.


Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and housekeeping of all storage facilities
  • Physical unloading, receipting, and distribution of parts ordered/requisitioned
  • Purchasing and expediting
  • Organising/collecting locally sourced requisitions
  • Work with Pronto ERP, Canvas and Cognos reporting programs for reporting, stock control and purchases
  • Conduct rolling stocktakes and full stocktakes at year-end; update the system for variances
  • Participate in maintaining all logistics functions
  • Assist the Supply Chain Coordinator in identification and maintenance of inventory
  • Champion continuous improvement projects with strong business cases

Required Qualifications, Training, and Track Record
  • Procurement and warehouse experience in marine or mining (desirable)
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience, particularly Excel
  • Experience with Inventory Management Systems (desirable)
  • Forklift Licence (desirable)
  • LR Licence (or ability to obtain)
