We're at an exciting chapter of our growth journey, and we're looking for a talented Commercial and Industrial Sales Representative to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity that covers the South of Brisbane to North of Gold Coast QLD region. As a Commercial and Industrial Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the commercial and industrial market through canvassing and value selling Bingo services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Bingo Industries Commercial and Industrial Sales Manager
  • Face-to-face cold calling in concentrated commercial and industrial hubs
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Growing the commercial business through value selling Bingo services
  • Performance-based role with key performance criteria including canvassing, revenue, new business, retention, and settling disputes
  • Complying with pricing guidelines and business approval pricing matrix
  • Attending and participating in sales meetings and training programs
  • Actioning sales leads within the same working day or within reason
  • Complying with onsite safety rules when engaging with prospects or customers
  • Attending and completing all safety training where applicable
  • Executing site evaluation forms for all site agreements
  • Engaging with customers to resolve safety, commercial, or account issues
  • Establishing robust internal relationships with accounts, business support, and commercial allocations team
  • Registering all activities in the CRM system
  • Informing the sales management team on all activity and results
  • Monitoring and reporting on market competition
  • Being forward-thinking and suggesting changes to products and services
  • Providing historical records by maintaining data on area and customer sales
  • Effectively managing customer complaints and developing solutions to resolve issues
  • Preparing proposals, quotations, and tenders for existing and potential clients
  • Any other duty as reasonably directed
  • Carrying out all duties in line with Bingo's policies, procedures, and processes
  • Ensuring all prospects' details, quotes, service agreements, site evaluations, amendments to agreements, and cancellations are registered through the CRM system

Requirements:

  • Understanding of the commercial and industrial waste/recycling industry
  • Active in door-to-door sales, not directed at key account management
  • Proven ability to grow business organically through canvassing
  • Proven record in root cause analysis to close off customer issues
  • Proven experience with accurate planning and forecasting
  • Previous experience in other waste management sectors
  • Valid driving license and vehicle
