As a key member of our team, you will work in a dynamic environment, undertaking quality workmanship and adhering to strict safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect received parts for accuracy and defects.
  • Dismantle vehicles as per job specifications.
  • Store and label components.
  • Document broken parts and additional repairs, submitting to the estimator as required.
  • Verify new parts for correctness and damage, notifying the parts manager or production manager of any defects.
  • Mix and match vehicle colours after preparation and scheduling for painting.
  • Maintain a colour library.
  • Prepare, prime, and paint vehicles according to job requirements and paint supplier guidelines.
  • Buff and denib vehicles.
  • Repair vehicles according to repair methods, OEM standards, and job specifications.
  • Reassemble vehicles.
  • Handle all vehicles with care and attention.
  • Clean work areas and workshops.
  • Coach apprentices when necessary.
  • Handle company tools and equipment with care, ensuring they remain safe, clean, and functional.
  • Achieve our OH&S policy goals, including wearing personal protective equipment.

About You:

  • Hold trade qualifications in collision repair.
  • Prior experience in a similar role.
  • Strong commitment to working safely.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Capacity to meet deadlines.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Owning necessary tools for the role.
