Strategic Grant Developer

The role of a Grants Advisor plays a crucial part in the success of research grants within an institution. This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to secure funding from various sources.
Key areas of focus include:
- Establishing partnerships with senior executives to achieve excellent research outcomes.
- Providing expert advice on grant schemes, including ARC, NHMRC, and MRFF.
- Guiding researchers and university staff on matters related to category 1 funding.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Australian competitive grant schemes and possess excellent communication skills to guide the research community effectively.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
- A relevant postgraduate degree or equivalent experience in research administration.
- Demonstrated track record in developing successful category 1 schemes.
- Extensive knowledge of Australian competitive grant schemes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The role requires a subject matter expert in Category 1 schemes, particularly ARC, NHMRC, and MRFF schemes. The ideal candidate will have extensive professional experience and excellent communication skills to guide La Trobe's research community.
