Overview: Cocoon SDA Care is a leading provider of support services for individuals with disabilities, and we are currently seeking experienced Support Workers to join our team in Ballarat VIC.

About the Role:

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers who have experience working with individuals with complex care needs. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our participants, enabling them to live independently and achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualised support to participants with complex care needs
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care and manual handling
  • Encourage participants to participate in activities that promote independence and community engagement
  • Work collaboratively with other support staff and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience working in disability support or a related field
  • Cert III or higher in Disability Services or equivalent qualification
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
  • Manual handling Certification and Administration of Medication Certification
  • Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
