Job Summary

We are seeking a Disability Support Worker to join our team in Mt Evelyn VIC 3796. As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide assistance to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement support plans based on the individual's needs, preferences, and interests
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, hygiene, and household duties
  • Aid individuals to participate in activities, such as social events, work, and appointments
  • Promote personal choice and control for the individual
  • Administer medication
Requirements
  • Experience working with complex behaviours
  • Experience working with neurological disabilities preferred
  • A passion for enabling and working with people
  • Desire for meaningful work and comfortable providing daily living support
  • Willingness to learn new skills and undertake ongoing training
  • Willingness to work as part of a team
