Established engineering consultancy WSce is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil and Stormwater Engineer to join its team in Sydney.

We offer an attractive salary package for this challenging role, estimated at $150,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role

This leadership position is responsible for delivering innovative engineering solutions and managing projects from conception to completion. As a key member of our Civil and Water Engineering Team, you will work closely with clients, staff, and sub-consultants to ensure project success.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Project management and delivery, including client liaison and stakeholder engagement.
  • Design and development of civil and water infrastructure, including roads, stormwater systems, and sewerage networks.
  • Leadership and mentoring of junior engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and development.
  • Quality assurance and control, ensuring that all projects meet organisational requirements and relevant Australian Standards.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 15 years' post-graduate experience in civil and water engineering, preferably in a similar leadership role.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (CPEng / NER) and eligibility for registration as a C2 designer under Sydney Water competency standards.
  • Advanced skills in engineering software, including AutoCAD, 3D terrain modeling, and stormwater management design tools.
  • Proven experience in project management, team leadership, and quality assurance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
