As a Water Infrastructure Engineering Trainee at SA Water, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering innovative solutions to meet the water needs of our customers.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team in this exciting opportunity. As a trainee, you will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in engineering design, project management, and stakeholder engagement.

The role will involve working on various projects across different regions, including urban and rural areas. You will be required to collaborate with other team members, participate in team briefings, and work towards achieving team objectives.

Your success in this role will depend on your ability to:

  • Complete online training sessions and achieve the required qualifications within the specified timeframe
  • Develop high-level computer literacy skills
  • Cultivate effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Display a positive attitude and willingness to work within a team environment
  • Maintain a current driver's license

This is a 4-year maximum term position offering a unique opportunity to kickstart your career in the water industry. The salary for this position is approximately $67,136 per annum (based on first-year salary of $60,552 plus annual increments), making it an attractive option for individuals looking to pursue a STEM-based career.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with internal stakeholders, including People & Safety, Work Planning & Scheduling, Reliability & Condition Monitoring, and Engineering teams, as well as external partners such as RTO lecturers and support employees.
