As a Principal Civil Engineer, Water, you will play a vital role in the water team and strongly contribute to projects, people leadership, technical direction, client relationships and commercial direction.
The opportunity is to work on major pipelines, large pumping stations, advanced water, wastewater and recycling treatment projects. We address critical water cycle challenges and provide solutions through adopting flexible program delivery models and ongoing asset management programs.
You will have the opportunity to explore new ways to integrate virtual reality and artificial intelligence on projects, offering you the chance to future proof and broaden your skills in the digital sphere.
About You
You are a delivery focused Senior Civil Engineer looking to take the next step and join our high performing Water team. You will be motivated by achievement, outcome-focused.
You will have previous experience in a similar role in the water sector and have a strong understanding of the local industry.
You possess a pragmatic approach to the development of constructable design solutions and have proven commercial acumen in the delivery of water infrastructure.
- You are a Chartered Engineer (CPEng) and have RPEV accreditation or have eligibility to apply for this accreditation.
- Design consulting experience with trunk mains, large diameter pipes, large scale WTPs & project management.
- You have demonstrated experience in the water infrastructure sector in a consulting environment.
- Proven ability to work in, and lead, engineering, and design modelling teams, work directly with Water Authority clients, and manage projects to scope, budget and program.
