  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy, encompassing Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Oversee influencer partnerships, leveraging macro collaborations, gifting programs, and community engagement to build lasting relationships
  • Launch innovative product gifting initiatives, showcasing our commitment to exceptional customer experiences
  • Coordinate dynamic brand activations, trade shows, PR stunts, and pet community events that resonate with our audience
  • Identify strategic brand and charity alliances, creating integrated campaigns that yield strong social and earned outcomes
  • Maintain a forward-thinking social content calendar, scheduling and publishing engaging content aligned to campaign objectives
  • Provide actionable performance insights, guiding future work and elevating our social, influencer, and PR efforts
  • Collaborate with our PR agency and senior leadership to brief on earned media opportunities, drive positive press, and manage reactive communications

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in-house or within an agency environment, preferably working with retail or e-commerce brands
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining social accounts, demonstrating a clear understanding of what drives engagement across platforms
  • A strong creative vision and excellent copywriting skills, coupled with the ability to craft platform-native content that resonates
  • Confidence in both behind-the-camera and public-facing roles, comfortable being a key ambassador for our brand voice
  • Hands-on experience managing events and activations, from concept development through to execution, including direct liaison with suppliers
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with project management skills to navigate multiple workstreams and shifting priorities
  • A data-driven mindset, with experience analyzing performance metrics and applying insights to optimize content and campaign strategies
  • A team player who brings positivity, creativity, and curiosity to cross-functional collaboration
  • A genuine passion for pets and pet parents, with a desire to create impactful brand experiences that leave a lasting impression
