The Role

As National Sales Manager – Pet Care, you'll lead the charge in taking our pet brands to market. While the initial focus will be on the pet specialty channel, our ambitions span across grocery, vets, and international expansion.

You'll own the sales strategy, lead national accounts, and help build a category-leading brand across dog treats, kibble, supplements, and pet care accessories.

For the right candidate, this role could evolve into General Manager – Pet Care as the division scales.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth & Retail Execution

  • Build and lead a go-to-market strategy across key channels
  • Negotiate major retail partnerships and secure distribution
  • Drive footprint across Australia and beyond

Profitable Promotions

  • Deliver margin-positive trade promotions and retailer programs
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Finance to ensure ROI and brand integrity

Cross-functional Leadership

  • Partner with Ops, Product, and Marketing on successful launches
  • Translate market trends into smart pricing, innovation, and commercial strategy

Performance & Insights

  • Achieve sales targets and manage accurate forecasts
  • Stay ahead of category trends and competitive activity

About You

5+ years' experience in pet care, FMCG, or consumer goods sales

Proven success with national accounts and pet specialty retailers preferred

Commercially minded, results-driven, and strategic

Passionate about pets, innovation, and building something meaningful

Thrives in fast-paced, founder-led environments
