Pet Grooming Salon Manager Job

As a highly motivated and skilled Pet Grooming Salon Manager, you will lead a team in delivering premium grooming and playtime services. This is a unique opportunity to work with a respected Australian brand, known for its high-quality boutique experience.

Job Description:
  • Oversight of day-to-day operations of the salon.
  • Support and manage a team of groomers – approx. 4 staff a day.
  • Ensure high grooming standards, dog welfare, and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have experience in retail and/or grooming salon management (pet industry experience a bonus). You should be confident, personable, and love building genuine relationships with clients. Strong sales and service skills are essential, along with the ability to recommend products and services to suit each dog's needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the salon.
  • Support and manage a team of groomers.
  • Ensure high grooming standards, dog welfare, and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate grooming schedules and client bookings.
  • Conduct quality checks and manage client feedback.
  • Manage the boutique retail space, visual merchandising, and product stock.
  • Promote sales, product knowledge, and new stock launches.
  • Onboard, and train new staff.
  • Lead with positivity, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Coordinate rosters and ensure coverage for grooming appointments.
  • Foster a supportive and respectful team culture.
