Strategic Construction Procurement Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Construction Procurement Manager to join our team and lead the development of effective procurement strategies across our construction projects.

This key role involves working closely with our Design and Construction, Real Estate, Legal, and Finance teams to shape and execute innovative category strategies and deliver measurable value, sustainability initiatives, and best-in-class procurement practices.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction industry and experience in developing procurement strategies for various supply chain tiers. They will be able to negotiate large-scale construction contracts and manage complex relationships.

  • Develop and execute construction category sourcing strategies.
  • Increase competitiveness, maintain continuity of supply, and mitigate risks across geographical and business unit boundaries.
  • Drive cost optimization through negotiation, standardization, value engineering, and supply chain improvements.
  • Build effective internal and external relationships to enable collaborative working and a productive environment.
  • Negotiate, execute and manage framework agreements.
  • Support sustainability initiatives aligned with Amazon's Climate Pledge.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a construction-related discipline and 10+ years of experience in procurement, contract and/or commercial management within construction.
