We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Pipeline Design Engineer to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical advice and solutions to complex problems encountered by pipeline teams on a day-to-day basis.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Expertise: Provide expert advice on pipeline engineering design, process, and other methods to ensure high-quality solutions.
- Project Management: Establish scope of work for each project or proposal, and coordinate activities with other departments and clients.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure quality and safety standards and procedures are followed, and conduct technical investigation and research as needed.
- Team Leadership: Assist the Department Head in developing organizational procedures, methods, and controls, and contribute to the development of long-range plans and establishing project objectives and priorities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, and registration as a professional engineer with significant experience of 20 years.
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore industries, with a strong background in pipeline engineering.
- Skills and Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications.
