About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Drafter, Water Pipelines Specialist to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our Water team, you will contribute to significant water infrastructure projects via our strong partnerships with water authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and record designs as models and drawings using 2D and 3D computer aided design applications.
  • Evaluate design intent provided by professional engineers and translate that into the model or drawing.
  • Assist in the design of larger and more complex assignments that involve conventional plans, investigations, and surveys.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree, Diploma, Associate Diploma of Design or Engineering or similar para-professional level qualification, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous consulting/design/technical experience on water infrastructure and linear pipeline design as a designer.
  • Extensive experience in the practice of the drafting and design in the general mechanical / process engineering sector using various software, preferably AutoCAD.
  • Demonstrated understanding of local industry standards and market sector.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
