Job Title: Maintenance Officer

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in a full-time Maintenance Officer role.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of buildings, plant and equipment, furniture and furnishings within our facility.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing routine maintenance for the building and grounds in accordance with scheduled maintenance programs.
  • Purchasing necessary materials, stores and provisions as required.
  • Maintaining a well-organized inventory of materials, chemicals and equipment.
  • Undertaking repairs and cleaning work of plant, equipment and buildings as needed.
  • Assisting staff members as required.
  • Ensuring timely delivery and receipt of goods and materials.
  • Monitoring and prioritizing tasks daily.
  • Ensuring adequate supplies of materials are readily available.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in maintenance or facilities management is essential.

* A trade certificate or relevant qualifications is highly desirable.

* Demonstrated skills in domestic maintenance and repair.

* Self-motivated individual who can work independently with minimal supervision.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Current driver's license and access to a vehicle is highly desirable.
