Job Overview

The Maintenance Team at a leading mining operation seeks an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join their team.

Located in Western Australia, this unique position offers the opportunity to work on a range of maintenance activities at the Yilgarn Iron Ore Project.

The ideal candidate will thrive on meeting challenges and act with fairness and integrity in all aspects of their work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mobile fleet and other equipment in accordance with established guidelines
  • Source technical information from relevant reference materials and computer-based systems
  • Responsible for workshop tooling and advise the Supervisor of any unsafe equipment
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards and conduct pre-start checks
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Trade Certificate in Engineering Fabrication or Equivalent
  • Previous open cut mining experience in heavy equipment maintenance is essential
  • HR driver's license (desirable)
  • Proven commitment to health and safety
