Heavy Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic to join our maintenance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional who is passionate about heavy earthmoving equipment and has a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

  • FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Geraldton
  • 2/2 roster – nights then days, fly home off day shift
About the Role

This role will involve:

  • Maintaining, repairing, and servicing various types of heavy earthmoving equipment, including Sandvik drills, Volvo IT loaders, Epiroc equipment, and Normet charge wagons.
  • Daily servicing and repairs of equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conducting regular inspections to identify potential issues and take proactive measures to prevent downtime.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Australian Trade Certificate in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering or automotive technology.
  • Experience working with heavy earthmoving equipment, preferably in a mining environment.
  • Strong knowledge of fault diagnosis and maintenance data management.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills to manage workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
