Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically fit Trolley Collection Driver to join our Proactive Services Team. As a Trolley Collection Driver, you will be responsible for collecting trolleys from car parks and surrounding streets using a vehicle. You will be fully trained to operate our trolley collection vehicles and undergo an assessment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a trolley collection vehicle and collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs
  • PUSH trolleys up a ramp onto the trolley collection vehicle
  • Collect trolleys left in and around the store and return them to the trolley bays
  • Carry out all pre-start and handover routines for the vehicle
  • Follow all safety and operational processes and procedures related to vehicle operation and trolley collection
  • Follow all road rules and report any issues related to unretrievable trolleys
  • You may also be required to complete cleaning and waste disposal tasks
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a full (unrestricted) Australian drivers licence or Provisional P2 drivers licence (Green P Plates). Physical fitness is essential for this role, as you will be transitioning from driving a vehicle to physically collecting and loading trolleys throughout your shift. Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 4pm is also required.
