Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Trolley Collection Specialist to join our Proactive Services Team at Woolworths Group.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for collecting trolleys in car parks and surrounding streets using a vehicle. You will also be trained to operate our trolley collection vehicles and undergo an assessment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a trolley collection vehicle and collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs
  • PUSH Trolleys up a ramp onto the trolley collection vehicle
  • Collect trolleys left in and around the store and return them to the trolley bays
  • Carry out all pre-start and handover routines for the vehicle
  • Follow all safety and operational processes and procedures related to vehicle operation and trolley collection
  • Follow all road rules and report any issues related to unretrievable trolleys
  • You may also be required to complete cleaning and waste disposal tasks
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A full (unrestricted) Australian drivers licence or Provisional P2 drivers licence (Green P Plates)
  • Physical fitness is essential for this role, as you will be transitioning from driving a vehicle to physically collecting and loading trolleys throughout your shift
  • Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 4pm
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
