Trolley Collector and Vehicle Operator

About the Role
As a Trolley Collector and Vehicle Operator at Woolworths Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring our stores' trolleys are available and clean for our customers. Your main responsibility will be to collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding areas using a specially designed vehicle. You will be trained to operate the vehicle and undergo an assessment to ensure you are comfortable and confident in your role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding areas using a vehicle.
  • Push trolleys up a ramp onto the trolley collection vehicle.
  • Collect trolleys left in and around the store and return them to the trolley bays.
  • Carry out all pre-start and handover routines for the vehicle.
  • Follow all safety and operational processes and procedures related to vehicle operation and trolley collection.
  • Follow all road rules and report any issues related to unretrievable trolleys.
  • You may also be required to complete cleaning and waste disposal tasks.


What We're Looking For
We are seeking applicants who possess a full (unrestricted) Australian driver's license or Provisional P2 driver's license (Green P Plates). You will also need to be physically fit, as you will be transitioning from driving a vehicle to physically collecting and loading trolleys throughout your shift. Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 4pm is also essential. A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team are also required.
