Job Description

Woolworths Group is seeking a skilled Trolley Collection Operations Specialist to join their team.

About the Role

This role involves collecting trolleys from car parks and surrounding streets using a vehicle. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be physically fit, and have a full Australian drivers license or Provisional P2 drivers license.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Proactive Services Team to ensure trolleys are available for customers and store conditions are maintained. This includes driving a trolley collection vehicle, collecting trolleys from car parks, pushing trolleys onto the vehicle, and returning them to designated bays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding streets using a vehicle.
  • Drive a trolley collection vehicle safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all safety and operational processes and procedures related to vehicle operation and trolley collection.
  • Perform pre-start and handover routines for the vehicle.
  • Report any issues related to unretrievable trolleys.
Requirements:
  • A full (unrestricted) Australian drivers license or Provisional P2 drivers license.
  • Physical fitness to perform tasks such as lifting and loading trolleys.
  • Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 4pm.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
