Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Trolley Collection Operator to join our Proactive Services Team at Woolworths Group.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a Trolley Collection Operator, you will be responsible for collecting trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs, using a vehicle to transport them back to the store.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive a trolley collection vehicle and collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding areas.
  • PUSH trolleys up a ramp onto the trolley collection vehicle.
  • Collect trolleys left in and around the store and return them to the trolley bays.
  • CARRY out all pre-start and handover routines for the vehicle.
  • FOLLOW all safety and operational processes and procedures related to vehicle operation and trolley collection.
  • FOLLOW all road rules and report any issues related to unretrievable trolleys.
Requirements:
  • A full (unrestricted) Australian drivers license or Provisional P2 drivers license (Green P Plates).
  • Physical fitness is essential for this role, as you will be transitioning from driving a vehicle to physically collecting and loading trolleys throughout your shift.
  • Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 4pm.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
