Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic procurement plans that drive business value and improve operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of procurement principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and innovation.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and managing sourcing strategies and plans to meet business needs
  • Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Leading cross-functional teams to deliver procurement projects and initiatives
  • Providing expertise and guidance on procurement policies and procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in procurement, supply chain, or a related field
  • Proven experience in procurement planning, category management, and supplier relationship management
  • Strong knowledge of legislation and policy relevant to procurement
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills
