Transformation Manager - Financial Operations

The Transformation Manager leads the enhancement of customer financial operations, focusing on improving Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions through system reforms and policy development.

This role is key to delivering sustainable financial improvements aligned with strategic goals. The manager will be responsible for leading reform initiatives and improvement of the AP and AR functions across the organisation.

  • Lead reform initiatives, improve and streamline the AP and AR functions across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with AP/AR staff and ICT supplier to identify opportunities to implement enhancements and optimise workflows.
  • Establish key performance indicators that drive efficiency, continuous improvement and quality customer service outcomes.
  • Design and embed financial controls, policies and procedures in line with statutory obligations and risk frameworks.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale reform or transformation initiatives in a public sector or financial services environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of financial operations, with a focus on AP, AR, financial reporting and internal controls.
  • Proven experience with the implementation, enhancement or optimisation of financial systems.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and service providers.
  • Expert level written and verbal communication skills.
  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
