Job Title: Financial Operations SpecialistAbout this Role:This is a permanent, full-time position responsible for the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of a growing business.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable, fortnightly payroll, and general financial tasks in Xero software.
  • Liaise with external accountants, suppliers, and government authorities to ensure compliance and timely reporting.
  • Assist with regulatory requirements, ATO reporting, BAS, and similar obligations.
  • Support budgeting and financial tracking for projects, including grant and contract needs.
  • Oversight of office administration, including procurement, email management, supplier liaison, and contract registers.
  • Ensure current insurance coverage aligns with contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate onboarding logistics for new staff, including IT setup and system access.
  • Liaise with IT providers and manage software licenses (Xero, BCI, Autocad, Felix).
  • Support domestic and international freight and logistics needs.
  • Contribute to process improvements and documentation.
