The Role

We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maintenance Team Member to join our McDonald's Ballina Central NSW team. This critical role involves maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our restaurant, both internally and externally, to provide a welcoming environment for customers and staff alike.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain the internal and external restaurant environment, ensuring it remains clean, functional, and safe for customers and staff.
  • Ensure all equipment is well-maintained, promoting a secure and efficient working environment.
  • Maintain the restaurant's carpark, patio, and exterior equipment, including bins, gardens, curbs, signage, floors, tables, and chairs.
  • Organize and clean the back area of the restaurant, including the rubbish area and staff toilets.
  • Adhere to restaurant safety and security standards, guaranteeing a safe working environment.
  • Complete ad-hoc maintenance tasks as requested by the Management team.

Requirements

  • A high level of attention to detail, with the ability to work autonomously and meet strict timelines.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ensuring timely completion of tasks and duties.
  • Able to independently complete tasks such as mopping, scrubbing, climbing ladders, cleaning windows, and toilets.
  • Confident in engaging with customers, suppliers, or contractors, handling difficult situations effectively.
  • Capable of hearing and responding to various alerts and alarms.
  • Resilient and adaptable, demonstrating a positive mindset in challenging situations.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $55,000-$65,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.
