About the Role

This full-time position is ideal for someone who is highly organised, able to work autonomously and has a high attention to detail. You will be responsible for maintaining the internal and external restaurant environment, including equipment, carpark, patio and all exterior areas.

You will also be responsible for cleaning the back area of the restaurant, including the rubbish area and staff toilets. Additionally, you will complete ad hoc maintenance tasks as requested by the Management team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the internal and external restaurant environment to provide a clean, functioning and welcoming environment for Customers and the restaurant team.
  • Maintain equipment to ensure it is well-functioning and the restaurant environment is safe and secure from potential hazards.
  • Maintain the restaurant carpark, patio and all exterior equipment, including but not limited to the bins, gardens, curbs, signage, floors, tables and chairs.
  • Organise and clean the back area of the restaurant, including the rubbish area and staff toilets.
  • Comply with restaurant safety and security standards for a safe working environment.
  • Complete ad hoc maintenance tasks when requested by the Management team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • The ability to work autonomously.
  • A highly organised approach, with the ability to meet strict timelines.
  • A well-presented and friendly attitude.
  • Availability to work early mornings to prepare the restaurant for trade.
  • The ability to independently complete tasks, including but not limited to mopping, scrubbing, climbing ladders, cleaning windows and toilets.
  • Confidence in engaging with customers, suppliers or contractors, including handling difficult situations with individuals.
  • Capability of hearing and responding to various alerts and alarms.
  • Resilience and adaptability, bouncing back from challenges with a positive mindset.
  • A valid right to work in Australia is required.
