Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Telecommunications specialist to join our team in Sydney. This is a full-time, permanent role that requires a unique blend of electrical and data skills.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and commissioning fibre optic and copper infrastructure. You will also work on electrical tasks including power systems and cabling, as well as install lighting systems and emergency egress lighting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and telecommunications engineering, with experience working in data centres. You will need to hold a current Electrical licence (valid in NSW) and ACMA cabling licence, with endorsements in structured and fibre optics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and test fibre optic and copper infrastructure
  • Work on electrical tasks including power systems and cabling
  • Install lighting systems and emergency egress lighting
  • Contribute to a safe working environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • A current Electrical licence (valid in NSW)
  • ACMA cabling licence, with endorsements in structured and fibre optics
  • Experience working in data centres
  • A current WHS White Card
