Electrical and Telecommunications Technician

We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Telecommunications Technician to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cabling, data centres, and telecommunications infrastructure.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity with a competitive salary of $92,000 per year. The working hours are 8 hours a day, Monday to Friday, and the location is on-site.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical and communications, specifically working within data centres.
  • An ACMA Licence with endorsements of Structured and Fibre Optics.
  • Excellent safety awareness and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

The duties of this role include:

  • Assessing and communicating clear methodologies for work activities.
  • Planning job methodologies and solving cabling issues on site.
  • Maintaining high levels of workmanship on the worksite.
  • Mentoring and coaching Cert III Telecommunications apprentices and new technicians.
  • Contributing to the effectiveness of HSEQ systems to ensure compliance, ongoing improvement, and customer focus.
