Document Control Professional

The role of a Document Control Professional is pivotal in ensuring that document control processes are embedded across the organisation's projects.

  • They manage all aspects of document control, including receipt, storage, retrieval and circulation of documents, revision control, review coordination, external submission and distribution control across the full lifecycle of project activities.
  • Closely liaise with project delivery contractors to establish and monitor compliance with their document control processes.
  • Manage documentation for archiving/handover to Operations team.
  • Expedite the document review process.
  • Train staff and contractors on document control procedures and systems.
  • Submit timely reports and prepare presentations as required.

Requirements:

  • High School Certificate or equivalent experience in Business or Administration.
  • Proven experience in Document Control in a fast-paced environment.
  • Establishing Document Management Systems for use by internal and external parties.
  • Experience with Document Management Systems on large industrial projects with multiple contractors.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experienced with Aconex on large industrial projects.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within and across business units.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and negotiate with stakeholders on different levels.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
