Technical Product Lead

We are seeking a seasoned product expert to drive the development of our workflow platforms.

  • You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver engineering outcomes and product roadmaps.
  • Act as the voice of the customer for CommBank engineers, ensuring their needs are met through effective engagement with stakeholders and business units.
  • Balance delivering new functionality with continuously improving product reliability, observability, and resilience.

The Workflow platform is a group capability focused on ensuring smooth, fit-for-purpose technology-aligned workflow platforms are available for Business Application delivery. Our value comes from abstracting away complexity and reducing cognitive load from our Application Delivery teams so they can better serve our customers.

As a Technical Product Lead, your key responsibilities include:

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the product roadmap and engagement with senior stakeholders/business units to manage the delivery of product roadmap.
  • Balance delivering new functionality with continuously improving product(s) reliability, observability, and resilience.

Our team consists of around 120 people spread across Australia and India, working together to champion streamlined onboarding, automated operations, change management, code delivery, Agentic AI, and end-to-end Telemetry.

To achieve a brighter future for all, you will be part of the Workflow Crew in Corporate Technology that builds workflow platforms for consumption by many Business Units within CBA.

  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and Agile principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
